“Who will want to save them?”

Posted on December 2, 2008

Not suprisingly, the Jewish and Israeli hostages were tortured and mutilated before they were killed. As what I perceive to be some sort of justice, the same article notes the terrorists seem to have been mutilated before their death at the hands of Indian commandoes, who I have newfound respect for, by the way. From the last paragraph of that article:

A senior National Security Guard officer, who had earlier explained the operation in detail to rediff.com, said the commandos went all out after they ascertained that there were no more hostages left. When asked if the commandos attempted to capture them alive at that stage, he replied: “Unko bachana kaun chahega (Who will want to save them)?”

My first post on the Mumbai attacks grossly understated the monstrosity of these events. I don’t know how you can call yourself a human being and somehow justify what these animals did to Moshe Holtzberg’s parents, leaving him an orphan. Or all the other innocent dead that have been leaving the medical examiners of Mumbai, who have seen riot and war victims for years, shaken and disturbed.

Wake up call, folks. The war on Islamic terrorism did not begin on 9-11-01, and it certainly did not end on 11-4-08. I ask you, did the US bases in Saudi Arabia cause this? Did the “imperialistic war” in Iraq cause this? Did somehow US foreign policy cause this?

The rhetorical answer is “No.” What you have witnessed is pure hatred and evil. If that’s a bit absolutist for you, I suggest you forward your views to Moshe Holtzberg. If his cries to his parents at their funeral don’t move you, then nothing will.
