So long, T.J.

After much, speculation, it appears that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh is headed out of the Queen City to play for the Seattle Seahawks. The Bengals apparently made a fairly decent offer to keep him, but you can hardly blame T.J. for wanting to seek greener pastures.

Over the last few years, I’ve been impressed with T.J.’s hard work and passion for the game, and greatly appreciated the clutch catches he’s made. Unfortunately, his team has been in a terrible slide since 2005, and last year was the utmost in disappointment. I had really hoped to keep T.J. and unload the diva Chad Johnson, but it looks like the opposite will unfortunately come true.

I wish T.J. the best, and I hope he finds success in Seattle. As for this dejected Cincinnati fan, it’s just another to feel depressed about hopes for improvement next year.
